For the XR16 Driver, we worked with the experts at Boeing to redefine what’s possible with ball speed and aerodynamics. We engineered our most forgiving shape ever and Boeing made it fast with a re-engineered Speed Step Crown.
This new driver has a high speed head and lower drag in the crown to add ball speed. It’s extremely forgiving from the larger shape for more MOI, a stretched out crown with a bigger footprint, and a Center of Gravity that’s lower and deeper.
For more ball speed all across the face, we added our next generation R*MOTO face that’s lighter and up to 19% thinner. And golfers can choose from a wide selection of no-upcharge shaft options to fit your swing speed. XR16 is built to deliver the ultimate in ball speed.
Callaway XR16 Pro Driver
For the XR16 Pro Driver, we worked with the aerodynamics experts at Boeing to redefine what’s possible with ball speed in a deeper face. To make it faster, we put in the distance technology from our completely re-engineered face and a lighter Speed Step Crown, and Boeing helped us make our most aerodynamic head shape. We added all that together with lower spin and a more neutral CG bias into a 450cc head. This is a remarkably fast and forgiving driver for players who already get a lot of distance off the tee.
