The event will be 54-holes contested at medal play with no cut.  Field size will be limited to 60 players with a USGA handicap index not to exceed 9.4.

Lewiston resident Brian Oakley, Director of Boeing Programs for Magellan Aerospace, will serve as Tournament Director.

“The young ladies that do accept our invitation can expect a warm welcome from both our NFCC members and the many Western New York golf enthusiasts that have supported the Porter Cup for over 50 years,” said Oakley.

The Women’s Porter Cup will be the third major amateur Championship hosted annually by NFCC joining the Men’s Porter Cup (July 24-27) and Senior Porter Cup (September 4-6).

Oakley continued, “I believe the reputation and success of our men’s events will transition seamlessly toward the first Women’s Porter Cup.  We expect a similar competitive field that will create their own unique and exciting storylines.”
