Concord, Ontario lies just north of Toronto, so it’s understandable if Christina Foster feels at home along the Niagara river. The way she played the Niagara Falls country club course on Thursday, she might wish to visit the area with more frequency. The left-hander fired the low round of the tournament thus far, eclipsing Josee Doyon’s opening-round 68. Foster has a two-stroke lead over Doyson and Ana Paula Valdes of Blufton, South Carolina. Within shouting distance at 146 (eight strokes in arrears) are the 2014 USGA Girls Junior champion, Princess Superal, and local talent Catherine Peters of Clarence and the University of Michigan. Lewiston native Maren Cipolla is a stroke back at 147. Peters had a second consecutive 73 while Cipolla turned in a 74 on Thursday. Click Here for all second-round scores and third-round tee times.
