The Glide wedges, G30 LS Tec (Low-Spin Technology) driver, Cadence TR putters and Rhapsody women\u2019s line each showcase PING\u2019s primary point of difference: its ability to make measurable performance gains without sacrificing any important attributes.<\/p>\n

The Glide wedges are engineered from the hands down (grip to sole) to optimize versatility and control. The G30 LS Tec driver (PING\u2019s third G30 driver model) combines lower spin with a high MOI. Cadence TR putters offer traditional- and heavy-weighted models to match a player\u2019s stroke tempo and feel preference. Rhapsody clubs for women are engineered for slower swing speeds. Beginning today, the product line can be pre-ordered at PING-authorized golf shops around the world.<\/p>\n

Glide Wedges<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Solheim said PING took a first-ever approach to the Glide wedges, engineering them from the hands down to provide short-game performance and trajectory control on shots of every length. \u201cFor all golfers, being able to flight your ball with the ideal spin and trajectory will produce consistent, predictable results on any type of shot for hitting the ball close to the pin. The name says it all: these wedges glide through the turf better than anything we\u2019ve ever seen.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"PING<\/p>\n

The proprietary Dyla-wedge grip is \u00be of an inch longer to encourage gripping down to control ball flight. The CFS Wedge shaft is optimized in weight, flex and balance to provide a stable feel and lower ball flights. Three versatile sole designs vary in width \u2013 standard, wide, and thin \u2013 enabling players to be fit for their angle of attack and common turf conditions. In lofts 47 through 54, loft-optimized Gorge grooves have a 16\u00ba sidewall to maximize groove volume for improved performance on full shots. A 24\u00ba sidewall and tighter radius in lofts 56 through 60 optimize spin on chips and pitches. The chrome-plated 431 stainless steel head repels moisture to create more friction for improved spin and consistency in wet conditions and lies in the rough.<\/p>\n

G30 LS Tec (Low-Spin Technology) Driver<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWith the addition of the LS Tec, all golfers now have a G30 driver fit for their game,\u201d Solheim said. \u201cIt\u2019s engineered with less spin and an extremely high MOI to deliver the industry-leading distance and accuracy of the standard G30 driver. Our engineers met the difficult challenge of reducing spin while maintaining forgiveness across the face.\u201d A sole weight positions the CG extremely low and back (slightly forward of the standard G30 driver) to generate low, stable spin (approximately 400 rpm less) with a high MOI for exceptional flight control and distance on off-center performance. Turbulator Technology on the crown reduces aerodynamic drag on the downswing to help increase clubhead speed, and the thin T9S titanium face increases ball velocity for more distance. Using Trajectory Tuning+ Technology, players can add or subtract up to 1 degree of loft. The high-balance-point TFC 419D shaft has a CG closer to the grip end, promoting a simultaneous increase in the clubhead\u2019s energy, momentum and inertia.<\/p>\n

Cadence TR Putters<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Engineered to fit a golfer\u2019s stroke tempo and feel preference, Cadence TR models advance putter fitting by using different-weight face inserts. Traditional-weight models feature an aluminum insert (blue in color) and typically fit golfers with mid-to-faster tempos and can help with lag putting. Heavy versions (black) add mass with a stainless steel insert to match slower-tempo strokes, and can lead to better results on shorter putts. Both face inserts feature the next generation of True Roll (TR) Technology grooves that provide forgiveness by normalizing ball speeds across the face. They vary in depth and width from the center of the face to significantly improve ball-speed consistency on putts of any length.<\/p>\n

Eight models, including four new designs (Anser W, B65, Tomcat C, Rustler) and a counter-balanced option (Anser 2 CB), are available to fit all stroke types (Straight, Slight Arc and Strong Arc). Each features a black PVD finish and white alignment lines. Weight differentiation in the high-MOI Ketsch model is achieved with different 17-4 stainless steel sole plates that vary in thickness. To generate longer drives, the Rhapsody adjustable driver offers a lighter total system mass and a pearl-colored 460cc head that is centrifugally cast, which allowed us to optimize the CG and increase the MOI for greater accuracy. The thin face helps maximize ball speed for adding distance. Turbulators in the crown of the Ti 8-1-1 head reduce aerodynamic drag, leading to increased clubhead speed and ball velocity. Turbulators also help frame the ball at address for improved alignment. Heel weighting promotes head rotation to square the face for consistently solid impact.<\/p>\n

A lighter overall system mass helps generate clubhead speed, and a thin face produces faster ball velocity for added distance. Turbulators on the crown help frame the ball at address to aid in aiming and aligning the clubface to inspire confidence.<\/p>\n

This blended set combines easy-to-hit hybrids and high-launching, forgiving perimeter-weighted irons to optimize distance control and gapping. The stainless steel irons and hybrids offer lighter overall system mass for generating clubhead speed, ball velocity and distance, especially from slower swing speeds. In the irons, an elastomer cavity badge ensures a soft yet solid feel. Slightly longer shafts and stronger lofts optimize trajectory, distance, and gapping. In the hybrids, the face is thin to generate faster ball speeds for greater distance. A low-back center of gravity promotes higher launch and elevates the MOI for increased forgiveness and accuracy.<\/p>\n
