Mother Nature exhibits no gender favoritism when it comes to Porter Cup golf. For years, the men’s tournament has dealt with the vagaries of atmospheric conditions (rain!) and managed despite hiccoughs to complete at least 54 holes (usually all 72.) The supreme environmental guardian showed little mercy on the ladies, despite 2013 being the debut meeting of top female amateur golfers.
