This update resulted in a spin rate reduction of approximately 600 rpm\u2019s, which equals an average of about eight yards of distance gained for the average player.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nike Golf re-engineered the Fly-Brace design within the\u00a0cavity back ofthe VRS Covert 2.0 fairway woods similar to that of the VRS Covert 2.0 driver, re-distributing\u00a0material from the center of the club toward the heel and toe for increased stability. The Fly-Brace technology stiffens the chassis to focus flexing toward the variable thickness NexCOR face.\u00a0The result is a faster, hotter face with higher ball speed.<\/p>\n<p>The VRS Covert 2.0 Tour fairway woods feature Nike\u2019s patented FlexLoft technology, a\u00a0simple pull, turn, push-and-tighten adjustment system that allows golfers to choose their loft and face angle independently of each other, providing more range and versatility in the bag.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/buffalogolfer.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/VR_S_Covert2_Tour_Fairway_BEAUTY_CMYK_25412.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-9157\" alt=\"VR_S_Covert2_Tour_Fairway_BEAUTY_CMYK_25412\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The second generation of Mitsubishi Rayon\u2019s Kuro Kage shafts are the standard graphite option for both models.\u00a0 In the VRS Covert 2.0 Tour, the Kuro Kage Silver 70 graphite, featuring Titanium Nickel fiber in the tip section, creates more stability and lower spin.\u00a0 The Kuro Kage Black HBP Graphite 60 shaft in the VRS Covert 2.0 fairway woods features a
