Nothing fancy, nothing enormous, just a simple growth in votes for East Aurora from start to finish. Enough to claim the title of Best 7th hole in western New York. The home of the International Junior Masters utilized social network connections well enough to claim a 24-vote victory over runner-up St. Bonaventure golf course. Understandable that folks in Olean were a bit preoccupied with other events this week. The lady basketballers moved on to round two of the NCAA tournament while the men fell just shy of a first-round upset. Props to Attica Golf Club for a strong, 3rd-place showing.

We’re psyched at EACC for winning the Best 7th Hole. Thanks for including us. A thought for a story for you guys – club websites. We just redesigned ours, and perhaps I’m biased, but I think ours is the best out there. It features our beautiful course, including our 7th hole. Would be interested to get your writers’ perspectives on various club sites. Thanks, Jeff
Jeff, you read my mind. CCB has a great new one and ironically, Crag Burn’s is now more restrictive. Yours and NFCC are linked because of the amateur events you run. Your wish is our command!
