The 2020 Ranking separated into two brackets: public and private courses. Two stages of tabulation were held. The first took place from July 12th to July 18th. Area golfers were asked to list their top 10 courses in each bracket, with the option of adding courses 11 through 15. Stage two took place from July 19th to July 26th, and listed the top 15 vote-receivers, in alphabetical order. Area golfers were required to list a first-place course, and continue to a 15th-place course. 15 points were awarded for a first-place vote, and one point was awarded for a 15th-place vote. Points were counted and rankings were established. The results were published from July 28th to August 2nd.
