Round Two of the 2025 Masters saw a bit of everything: redemption, collapse, despair, and elation, among other emotions and effects. As you can see from the image below, the host of this challenge experienced most of those emotions, save the redemption and the elation. 82nd out of 84? Incredibly generous, I’d say.

The actual challenge welcomed a new leader, as Sand Savers jumped to 23-under par and a two-shot advantage over first-round leader SPGC. SS benefitted from some of the usual candidates for greatness, like Rory and Scottie. SS went a bit edgy with Collin Morikawa, and then went complete risk with Tyrrell Hatton and Rasmus Højgaard.

After SS and SPGC came Viking Crew, OMG!, and Greg’s Great Picks, previously among the top five on day one. Joining them in a third place tie, three back of the leader, are newcomers Rory’s Stories and DFresh23. Stories has DeChambeau and Maverick McNealy, and will need a solid performance from M&M over the weekend, to stay in contention for swag. MJ (aka 23) has the same lineup as Stories, so theirs will be an overtime battle, should they summit the podium.
