First Niagara WNY PGA Junior Tour @ Pine Acres

The First Niagara WNYPGA Junior Tour had close to forty players at Pine Acres CC in Pennsylvania thanks to host professional Kirk Stauffer.  Kirk was not the only Stauffer that needs to be thanked today. His son Josh put on a show with some outstanding golf as he posted a 3 under 69 at his home course to take first place in the boys 16 – 18 year old division.  In the boys 13 – 15 year old division, Brad Belote beat out Caleb Edwards by one stroke and shot a 73 to take first place.  Erin Thompson landed in the 70’s for the first time in her career as she took first place with a 79 in the girls 18 hole division.  Nolan Codd and Sara Riso took first place in the boys and girls 9 hole division shooting a 43 and 44 respectively.  It was a great day as three to four kids posted personal bests on the year.  Great job kids!
