About the Course
The Links at Ivy Ridge opened in 2004. It sits on rolling acreage in Akron, New York, and features the shaping expertise of Blaine Harrison, a Canadian golf course shaper. The course record at the Links at Ivy Ridge is held by Dustin Johnson, the 2015 US Open champion.
From The Links at Ivy Ridge website: On July 1, 2005, the Links at Ivy Ridge officially opened and immediately caught the attention and captured the imagination of the Western New York golfing community. Unheralded and practically unheard of over the 7 years while under intense development and construction, the Links at Ivy Ridge has become recognized as a leading golf destination and an overwhelming success.
Developer Don Nicholas’s stated goal was to build the finest public golf facility in Western New York; no stone was left unturned in pursuit of this achievement in the past nor will it be allowed in the future.
Course Layout
The Links at Ivy Ridge stretches frm 5100 to 7000 yards, over four teeing decks (Red, Gold, White and Blue.) The course features 4 par three holes, 4 par five holes, and 10 par four holes.
