The Catholic High School athletic association (CHSAA) held its 2017 girls golf championship at The Links at Ivy Ridge on May 21st. The event was a successful one for golfers from the Buffalo-Niagara area. Ava Rinaldi of Sacred Heart won the tournament medal with a score of 82. Freya Do was eliminated on the first playoff hole and Kelli Andersen, on the 2nd. In addition to rinaldi, Emily Kase (Sacred Heart, 6th), Adeline Mahoney (Nardin, 9th) and Isabela Vasquez (Nardin, 10th) placed in the tournament’s top ten.
