The nine members of the 2017 Section VI boys golf team, forged in the fires of 27-hole qualifying competition last month, begin play at 9 am on Sunday, June 4th, at the Cornell University golf course.
Ranging from the southern tier (Chautauqua Lake and Ellicottville) to mid tier (East Aurora/Holland and Orchard Park) to the northern tier (Williamsville North and Medina) the team offers a blend of novelty and experience. Three teams (East Aurora/Holland, Williamsville North and Orchard Park) boast two golfers on the squad.
