Golf season is heating up, even with the rains of June and July. The Buffalo District Golf Association has released its schedule of events for the remainder of the season. See below for tournaments that you should play and a teaser photo of each golf course.

Men’s Qualifier –
8/27 @ Arrowhead GC
The feel and look of a heathland course
Open to all men not already exempt (exempt list will be on the website). At least
1/3rd of the field will qualify for the Men’s Indiviual at Niagara Frontier CC.
Fee ($75) covers carts, golf, food and prizes. Tee times begin at 9:30.

Women’s Championship –
8/29-30 @ Gowanda CC

Open to all women with a handicap index of 30.0 or less. Tee times begin at 10am.
Fee ($110) covers carts, golf, lunch the first day and prizes. Champions crowned
for ladies and senior ladies, age 50 and older.

Scholarship Scramble –
8/31 @ Lockport T&CC

Open tournament to raise funds for the BDGA Scholarships. Fee ($100 per person)
covers carts, golf, food and prizes.  Tournament will be a 4 person scramble with
divisions for men, women and mixed.  Noon shotgun start.\

Senior Net –

The Senior Net Championship is open to men ages 50 and older. Fee ($75) cover
carts, golf, prizes and lunch. Flights for seniors, super seniors, masters and
legends. 8:00 Shotgun Start.

Team Championship –
9/21 @ Hickory Stick

The team championship is coming back after a long absence.  5 man teams from
any course/club are eligible.  $350 per team includes cart, lunch, golf and prizes.
Low 4 scores of 5 will determine the championship team.
