It’s a slow evening and I’m trolling YT for anything golf and funny. I keep coming back to the caddie races on the 16th hole at TPC-Scottsdale, site of the Phoenix Open. Every golf fan knows that the 16th is a medium-length par three inside a stadium. Competitors enter through a tunnel and the place is bedlam. It precedes the driveable-par-four 17th, perhaps the most exciting two-hole stretch in golf.

Oh, the caddie races. So here’s the deal: the caddies run from tee to green, heavy tour bag and all. First one there is the winner, no prizes beyond bragging rights. In this video, watch Ryan Moore hit his tee ball. Watch the lower right corner of the screen. No sooner does ball leave club than…well, I won’t spoil it.
