Section VI currently sits in 9th place (of 11 sections) after day one of the 2012 state high school golf championships. Depew’s Andrew Romano had an electrifying 72, which included 7 birdies, and currently sits in second place individually. Unfortunately, no other Section VI representative could break 80 and the team had to include a 90 in the “Best-Seven-Of-Nine” scoring format.
