Jacob Mertz, a senior from St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute, earned medalist honors with a score of 4-over par 75. Two strokes behind Mertz was St. Francis junior Mike Donner, who won a playoff for the 3rd seed in Federation play. Canisius senior Matt Dukarm tied with three other golfers for the final two spots on the Federation squad. In a playoff, the Canisius golfer narrowly missed out on one of the two available spots. Nichols School’s three CHSAA qualifiers were unable to attend, due to a conflict with graduation.
