River Oaks Golf Club, the singular and diverse golf course on the east edge of Grand Island, will host two upcoming events in preparation for the 2013 golf season. On Saturday and Sunday, March 23rd and 24th, the club will invite the public to see its newly-renovated Ellden’s Grill and Banquet establishment and to learn about membership opportunities and incentives. The open houses will take place from 12 pm to 4 pm each day.
On Easter Sunday, Ellden’s will offer an Easter Champagne Brunch from 10:30 am to 2 pm. The menu will include carved top round of beef, an international cheese display, carved ham, a variety of potatoes, vegetables and fresh fruit, along with Creme Brulee french toast and Belgian waffles (and much more!) In addition to Easter Sunday, Ellden’s proudly opens its doors to customers on Tuesday, April 2nd. Although the golf club is a private entity, Ellden’s is a public restaurant and offers daily lunch and dinner specials, along with an $11 Friday Fish Fry.
