4 WNY PGA Pros Head West For PGA Professional National Championship

Western New York Section PGA Professionals Stephen Parker (Wanakah CC), Rob Horak (Ravenwood GC), Tim Fries (Transit Valley CC), and Liam Friedman (Orchard Park CC) head to the Bayonet Black Horse Golf Courses in Seaside, CA for the PGA Professional National Championship Sunday June 24^th through Wednesday June 27^th, 2012. 

The PGA Professional National Championship, carrying a $550,000 total purse this year, is broadcast (all four rounds) by GOLF CHANNEL. Following 36 holes of play, the field will be trimmed to the low 70 scorers and ties.  The low 20 scorers in 2012 will earn berths into the 94^th PGA Championship, Aug. 9-12, 2012, at The Ocean Course in Kiawah Island, S.C.  In addition to the Walter Hagen Cup, the PGA Professional National Championship winner also receives an exemption into the next 10 PGA PNC’S and exemptions into six PGA Tour events over a 12-month period.
