CAGT was founded by western New York native Tom Lizardo and has played its events, including events ranked by Golfweek Magazine and the Junior Golf Scoreboard, as well as several qualifiers for a number of international events such as the International Junior Masters, the Callaway Junior World Golf Championship, for nearly five years. The event at Hickory Stick was the CAGT’s first venture outside of the Metro Washington, DC Area, but Lizardo promises that the group is planning more events around the country, including in western New York and Southern Ontario in spring 2014.
