He wouldn’t say it was pretty, but Raman Luthra will take his 2013 BDGA championship, thank you very much. Luthra posted a five-over 77 to finish three rounds at Crag Burn at minus-three, the only golfer to finish below par. His margin of victory was five strokes over the second place finishers. Consistency was key for Thad Wier III and Jonathan Clark. Both tied for second at 218. Wier had rounds of 72-74-72 while Clark signed for 72-73-73.
Tony Hejna matched Luthra’s final-round 77 to finish alone in 4th. Daniel Yustin and Michael Carrig tied for fifth with Nicholas Morreale at 224. Rounding out the top ten were Brian Rajczak in 8th at 225 and Mark Drabik and Billy Gaffney, tied for 9th at 227.
