I found it odd that Greg Norman decided to be so bold in his predictions that Tiger Woods won’t break Jack Nicklaus’ record of 18 majors. I credit the guy for speaking his mind if that’s how he truly feels, which I’m assuming it is. But it would have been so easy to deflect the question and say…”well he’s got to find his swing again, etc.”
Along with saying he thinks Woods will fall short in his pursuit of Nicklaus, Norman also said it was good for the game when Graeme McDowell beat Tiger in a playoff last December.
That’s two digs at Tiger in about three months. Bold words from Norman, who won just two major championships in his career.
