Logjam would be an understatement. Golfers from the colleges Oklahoma, Pepperdine, Indiana, Auburn, Virginia Tech, Delaware and local clubs like Stafford, Country Club of Rochester and Oak Hill topped the crowded, day-one leaderboard at the Monroe Invitational. Try as they might, no golfer could go deeper than one under par. Nine golfers reached that figure, and they were followed closely by another six golfers at even par. Midway through round two, Alastair Tidcombe of Coastal Georgia, Turner Southey-Gordon of Duke and Beau Titsworth of Okalahoma have made the turn at three-under on the day, with Titsworth a stroke ahead of the field at minus-four overall. It appears that Moving Day might have arrived just a bit early. Stay tuned to the leaderboard all day! Below you will find images from Tuesday’s AM practice round.
