Holiday Valley is hosting Play Golf America Day/Demo Day on June 19 from noon to 3PM. This event is fun for people of all ages and abilities who are interested in golf. Anyone who wants to come out and have some fun and learn a bit more about golf is welcome. You can sign up on the Play Golf America website.
Holiday Valley’s event will be held at the Practice Facility and Driving Range, located behind the Ellicottville Depot Restaurant. Highlights of the Play Golf America Day include FREE demos of Callaway and Nike equipment and FREE lessons from Noon to 2:00. Lessons are available for all ages and abilities with instruction on woods, irons, chipping, pitching and putting.
There will be a question and answer session with the pros from 2:00 to 3:00 and a golf demonstration. Top level Western New York instructors include Steve Carney, PGA Master Professional from Holiday Valley Resort; Ange Alberico, PGA Senior Professional from Harvest Hill CC and First Tee of WNY, Cindy Miller, LPGA Teaching Instructor from Wehrle Golf Dome; Kyle Benish, PGA Class “A” Member from Holiday Valley Resort; Jim Barillo, PGA Senior Professional and 50 year Cattaraugus County Golf Pro, Jack Johnson, PGA Member from Chautauqua GC and First Tee of Chautauqua County, Joe Bertino, PGA Member and WNY Executive Director.
