The 73rd International Junior Masters gets underway at East Aurora Country Club on June 23,
Play begins at 7:00am.
We are excited to once again include a girl’s division this year. The girl’s division remains at 12
players and will begin play at approximately 11:30am.
There are 72 players in the Boys field.
The 2026 tournament features players from eight countries—US, Canada, Mexico, Thailand,
Australia, Philippines, Taiwan and for the first time, India.
On the Boys side, some of the locals playing for the final time are Cole Jones, Connor Jackson,
Halim Habib and Jack Lopinski. Cole is the Msgr. Martin Champion and recently set the EACC
course record with a 62. He is headed to Ohio University in the Fall. Also, from Team New York,
an all-state team of sorts, are John Lazzaro and Patrick O’Connor.
From Canada, Jason Yu and Will Hindemit are both US Junior Amateur qualifiers while David
Kowaleski won the 2025 Maple Leaf Junior Tour National Challenge. Finally, from Asia, Tristan
Padilla and Zachary Villaroman are top 10 finishers in the Asian Junior Masters.
On the Girls side, Delaney Abel and Lockport’s Natalie Wasik are members of Team New York.
Natalie is also the 2025 NYSGA Girls 14U Girls Champion. Orchard Park’s Claire Brady was a
finalist at the 2026 National Drive, Chip and Putt at Augusta National. Canadian Elliana Buhagiar
is the winner of the Beth Danile Junior Azalea Championship. Elliana recorded a hole in one at
last year’s IJM. From Asia, Bianca Tu is the winner of the FCG Series Taiwan Championship and
placed second in the 2026 Asia Open Amateur Series.

The tee times for Tuesday are available on the IJM website.
The tournament format is medal play on Tuesday and Wednesday. The top 16 boys will
advance to the match play Championship Flight. The remaining boys will be placed in the
Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze flights based upon their medal play results. Match play begins
Thursday morning at 7:30am. Winners will advance to the quarterfinals on Thursday afternoon.
The girls flight will also begin match play on Thursday morning, with the top four girls from
medal play receiving a bye into the Quarterfinals Thursday afternoon.
On Friday morning the semifinal matches will take place for all flights. The Bronze flight will begin at 7:30am. The final matches will take place Friday afternoon, with the Bronze flight starting at 1:00pm Friday. Matches will conclude at approximately 5:00pm followed by the awards ceremony.
The IJM uses Golf Genius for scoring. Medal and match play results will be updated throughout each day of play.
