EDITOR’S NOTE:  The Rochester Golf Show is this weekend, February 10th-12th.

For the second consecutive year, metro Buffalo won’t have a golf show from Upstate Golf Shows, the leader in regional golf shows. Fortunately for those who jones for the latest equipment, apparel and instruction, the 9th annual Rochester Golf Show will run from February 1oth to the 12th.

A five-part seminar series debuts in 2012. Topics are proper swing plane, putt reading, golf fitness in 3-D, personal handicaps and technology in the game of golf. Presenters include national teaching pros, businessmen and area golf professionals.

The backbone of the show is the exhibitors. These break down into equipment manufacturers (Nike, Mizuno, Taylor Made, Yes!, Callaway and Adams), area courses and resorts (Byrncliff, Holiday Valley, Seneca Hickory Stick, Peek ‘n Peak, et al) and other businesses (builders, backyard greens, tourism.)

Registrants will also receive a year subscription to Golf Work or Golf Digest, which pays for the admission ticket. For more information, click here.
