Nine golfers qualified for the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) golf championships on Monday, May 19th. Adam Patronik, a senior from Orchard Park high school, led the 69-golfer field with an even-par score of 108 for 27 holes. Five strokes behind Patronik was Clarence junior Andrew Kempton, followed by 2013 state and federation qualifier Nolan Ditcher of Randolph high school. Additional qualifiers to the Section VI team are Kevin Borowicz (Grand Island, grade 12); Steve Kaufmann (Iroquois, grade 12); Matt Lesinski (Williamsville North, grade 12); Mitch Feneziani (West Seneca West, grade 12); Aaron Orechwa (Eden, grade 12); and ECIC individual champion Erich Spitz (Orchard Park, grade 11).
