Beau Hossler took a run at the top spot early, following his opening 65 with a solid 68, to stand at -7 through two rounds. First-round leader Justin Shin decided that he liked first place and he kept a grip on it, backing up his 64 with a three-under 67 to take a three-stroke lead over Hossler. No sooner had we posted this story than Tyler Dunlap of Texas and Texas A&M posted his second consecutive 65 to occupy first place.

Here are photos from the morning’s action.
