The nerve of Tiger Woods…choosing to announce his return to the world of golf during Porter Cup week.

It’s true folks, Woods is set to play golf again next week at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational. There’s conflicting reports about how much or how little Woods has been practicing. And, there’s some people who are just impressed with Woods’ recent facial hair growth.

Me…I’m eager to see if his game is anywhere near the level it needs to be. I’m assuming his Bridgestone appearance means he intends to play the PGA Championship a week later. If his swing is halfway decent…that could lead to some drama.

Apparently, Byron Bell will be on the bag for Woods. Tiger must not have had a chance to read this.
