The ANAdeeds WNY PGA junior tour championship was held August 15th and 16th at a pair of Rochester-area courses. Qualified golfers teed off first at Cobblestone Creek in Victor, then at Ridgemont in Rochester. Winners were determined in five age/gender brackets and all competitions were not decided until late in the second round.
Emily Kase won the girls 9-hole bracket by five strokes over Sophie Renzi. Jeremy Summerson captured the boys 9-hole by two shots over Aidan Shaw. Sara Riso parlayed a marvelous day-two 76 into a seven-stroke victory over Victoria Parker in the girls 18-hole division. Nolan Ditcher edged Ben Reichert by one stroke in the boys 13-15 competition and Patrick Hinkson snuck past Wil Lockwood by two strokes in the boys 16-18 grouping.
