The WNYPGA junior tour, under the sponsorship of ANAdeeds of Clarence, broke the tape on its 2013 season with events at Orchard Park and Niagara Falls country clubs on Sunday, April 28th. A number of players posted impressive numbers in the early season, serving as potential harbingers for successful campaigns.
Girls 9 and 18 hole and Boys 9 hole events were held at Orchard Park country club and Anna Yeager, Molly Balbierz and Charlie Fischer came away as respective champions. A county away, in Lewiston, Steve Kaufmann and Aaron Schauger tied for first at the Niagara Falls country club.
