A field of 72 top female amateur golfers will participate in the 3rd annual Women’s Porter Cup being held at Niagara Falls Country Club Wednesday June 3rdthrough Friday June 5th.

“We are thrilled to be hosting some of the top female amateur golfers in the world here at Niagara Falls Country Club” says Tournament Chairman Brian Oakley.

Oakley also noted that the field is nearly doubled from the original number of 39 that participated in the Tournaments inaugural event in 2013.

“Our event is growing in popularity in the world of female amateur golf. It doesn’t hurt that last year’s winner Brooke Henderson is currently playing on the LPGA Tour” he added.

Highlighting this year’s field is the entire Canadian National Team along with Maddie Szeryk of Texas A&M, Kelly Grassel of the University of Florida, and Josee Doyon of Kent State.

Philippine standouts Pauline Del Rosario and Princess Superall will also be in the field.

Cat Peters representing University of Michigan along with Lewiston native Maren Cipolla of Nichols are two top local players competing as well.
