If you’ve got five minutes take time to read this article and watch Tom Rinaldi interview Tiger Woods. Tiger talks about his family and improvements in his game and then when asked who the best player in the world is responds “when I get my swing dialed in.” Rinaldi then follows up with something to the effect of “so you’re referring to yourself.” Tiger simply smiles with a meek nod.
I can’t imagine the best players in the game are going to love Tiger’s cockiness considering he hasn’t won in a long time. Martin Kaymer, Graeme McDowell, Luke Donald, Matt Kuchar — none of them are going to roll over.
Still, it was good to see Woods back to having some confidence. I personally hope he’s firing on all gears at Augusta in a few weeks. We shall see….
