Buffalo Bills fans might take pleasure in learning that Tony Romo wont be able to complete his dream of playing in the U.S. Open after carding a 9-over 81 at the local qualifier at Stonebridge Ranch Country Club in McKinney, Texas last Monday. Only the top 10 golfers at the qualifier are able to advance.

“The golf course is probably the toughest in the area but when you add the USGA with their greens and some of the pin placements, then add to that the wind, it was a monster today,” Romo said. “It was as tough as I’ve seen it out here.”

Romo has tried to qualify for the U.S. Open several times and has the game to someday make it happen. But Bills fans love to hate the Dallas Cowboys, and probably don’t mind that Romo will have to now think, maybe next year.
